HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Central Plains region would like to run bi-weekly Junior Capitals skill development sessions this season throughout the region. Practice plans will be developed by certified instructors focusing on the core skills of skating, puck control, passing, and shooting. Coaches and Assistant coaches from each association will be strongly encouraged to help on the ice with these sessions.
Goalies are welcome to participate in the U11 and U13 groups as there will be a skills instructor for those age groups.
There will be two separate registrations. The first registration will include 4 skates in the first half of the season before Christmas and then another registration to include 4 skates in the second half of the season.
Fees will be $80 for each participant for the first half and then another $80 for the second half.
Interested participants will need to register on the Central Plains Minor Hockey website. The cut-off date for registration will be October 30, 2021. Spots are limited and a quick registration is encouraged for those interested. Groups will be limited to 20 players.
